Food Is Medicine
The grocery aisle is the most underrated pharmacy in town.

What you eat works on you long after the plate is cleared. Celery has a quiet reputation for lowering blood pressure, tart cherry juice eases joint pain, and ginger is one of the best anti-inflammatories you can keep in the kitchen. Garlic and Japanese daikon radish both give your immune system a steady boost.
On the other side of the coin: sugar. Too much of it fuels inflammation — the mother of nearly every chronic illness — and it literally feeds cancer cells. You don't have to swear it off, just keep the dose small and let the produce drawer do the heavy lifting.
